My swimschool is a NPZ-NRZ acknowledged private swim school and is autohorized to distribute the National Swimmingdiplomas (Swim ABC). I teach and examine according to the standards of the present BREZ from the NPZ-NRZ. My swimschool is registered at the National Board of Swim diploma's(NPZ-NRZ) as: excellent.

The 'Swim-ABC' consists of three official Dutch swimming diploma's: A, B and C.
- With the A-diploma a child can manage in a quite swimming pool.
- The B-diploma is good for the crowded Wednesday-afternoon swimming pool.
- With the C-diploma children can manage in swimming paradises, wild-water-ways and the sea.”

I make the assumption that each child that starts at my swimschool finishes the entire Swim ABC.
It appears that parents decide to quit the education for the Swim ABC after their child gained the A-diploma, this is a pity. Of al the finishing of the Swim ABC makes a safe and good swimmer of your child. The final goal of learning to swim is the C diploma of the Swim ABC.
Both the A and the B diploma are logical in between steps on the way to the Swim ABC.
At each exam your child has to make longer lengths in meters, at each exam some parts has to be done for a longer time, at each exam the technique gets more refined (think of beginners crawl at the A) and at each exam your child has to show more and more survival techniques/special skills.
Because of the above children who register for the complete Swim ABC have priority above children who register for just the A diploma or only the A + B diploma.
